Big Kahuna Cafe is a good place to go if you are craving bagels and coffee. Try the egg breakfast because they are really, really good! The hollan tomato bagel is also good, a very simple bagel with tomatoes and cheese. Its a very small place too- you can sit outside if you prefer.
We bought cheesecake thinking...ok we'll try it but honey, when I say GOOD, especially the one with strawberries on top, OMG, you have to try it!
This has been my favorite local coffee shop in PV for a number of years. I love the owner’s great friendly service and the intimate setting right on the corner. You can sit and watch the world go by and enjoy a great coffee treat. She also has breakfast and lunch options at reasonable prices if you’re hungry plus a wide range of local desserts!
Having had coffee all over this city I think they are one of the best. If you are looking for bold flavor with a low acid taste then this is the place. I am talking to the real coffee drinkers, not the people who put cream and sugar in your coffee. The shots are some of the smoothest in town. Equipment is a little run down but the experience of the barista and the coffee beans make up for it. Also the prices are very modest for the quality of the cup.
Big Kahuna has the best coffee in the city! It was a daily staple for us. Loved their iced Americanos! The staff were also delightful and helped me remember some of my conversational Spanish.
Absolutely delicious coffee. My taste buds would be happy more often if I had low standards, but it just isn't the case. The Americano with creme I had was better than most independent coffee stands in the Pacific Northwestern US. Yum!! We didn't have pesos and we spent 5 for two 16oz Americanos. Well worth it. (42 pesos per grande Americano at the time of this review)
Great bakery! The coffee here is absolutely delicious and their desserts are so good. I've had several different ones but by far my favorite is the cappuccino cake. I know they will know who wrote this review now that I've said that. Haha. I get two pieces every Saturday and buy a whole cake for everyone's birthday that I know! Just a wonderful little place. The staff are all lovely too and will take great care of you. I highly recommend this sweet little place!
Great coffee. They use a blend of Chiapas and local coffee. Tastes lovely!
